I was looking at a 1973 Kawasaki H1 (Mach 3 500 2stroke triple) at the Alexandra show, and I wondered what would be the modern bike you'd all buy today that might become a classic?

In 1971 some of my mates had Mach 3s (I couldn't afford one) but who would have guessed that they'd become an icon (apart from downright unrideable dangerous and terrifying fast) ?

So...
What would you buy today that's affordable and expect to find on the stage at Alexandra in 30 years? (TL ?)
